Where does the saving come from?

Commercial training providers typically charge between £18,000 and £22,000 for a full Chartered Accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CIMA at Level 7.

At Access Training, eligible learners can complete the same high-quality qualification with the below benefits, thanks to government apprenticeship funding:

  • No tuition fees
  • No student loan debt
  • Fully supported training, delivered face-to-face in the North East

*Please note that ACCA & CIMA registration, exemption and exams fees will apply.

Important funding update

The government has announced plans to withdraw funding for Level 7 apprenticeships for learners aged 22 and over.

This change has not yet taken effect, but is being introduced in January. If you’re over 21, we recommend applying as early as possible to secure your place while funding is still available.

Good news: If you’re aged 16 to 21, the proposed withdrawal of funding will not apply to you.

Who we compared

The “up to £22,000” saving is based on publicly available course fees from providers such as Kaplan and BPP as of April 2025. Prices may vary depending on qualification, study method and location.

Access Training is an approved apprenticeship provider working in partnership with the University of Sunderland, with over 40 years of experience delivering award-winning accountancy training.
